About the event
After a two-year absence, the North Gaston HS Alumni Baseball Game returns for its annual fundraiser. The proceeds from the game will fund the Houston Patterson Memorial Scholarship, awarded to select college-bound North Gaston senior athletes. Please come out to honor the memory of Houston Patterson and to raise money to fund this wonderful scholarship. North Gaston alumni are invited to play and the public is encouraged to attend. *Only NG alumni will play in the the scheduled game.
Please stay after the scheduled game to watch an exhibition between North Gaston alumni and the Carolina Fireflies of the Alternative Baseball Organization (ABO). ABO is a baseball organization for teens and adults (15+) living with autism and other special needs. The Fireflies were the first ABO affiliate in North Carolina and represents the 704.
North Gaston alumni are invited to play and everyone is welcome, so grab your lawn chairs and come out to enjoy a day at the field with family and friends. Concessions will be available.
